Ethereal
Gheed Mar 25
Moons, stars,
planets you
are nothing less
then an earthquake.
For in my heart
you reside.
Deep and
sound, you have built
in me cities, that are
ethereal, for in my words I
can not describe
What are you?

The Garden you sat in
Gheed Aug 2018
I always had a chance to escape
But I sat there
The view behind the rods wasn’t a jail
The outer world was
If you ever talked to me I’ll consider you a tale
But for now, I’ll sit here
And with my dreams I’ll sail and sail

Aster, Iris, Heather
You had them all even though I just wanted you
Your soft words and your shy laughter
Something made you special
The compliments you said were like feather
Made me laugh and wonder why people hated me
A poem about a girl with unrequited love

Scars of wisdom
Gheed Aug 2018
Your lips keep moving
Mumbling words
Thinking they inspire us,
While they don’t
You regret your choices
and try guide me a way
When wisdom is not a trait of yours
Nor of me.

Like an Iris we plead to be
Beside those graves of dissimilar faces
But that’s not who we are,
Just mere humans we be.

Time may walk slow
Never will we inherit lords wisdom
We just need to walk
Fall and make mistakes
Learn from them and hold on to our scars.
Purple iris can mean wisdom, and it’s said that they were planted over graves to summon the Greek goddess iris which led people to there trip to the heavens.

Wingless Shadows
Gheed Mar 27
The gods are so cruel
For they break wings and
not apologize
What apology is needed when they
Took what was once theirs, but
how can you tell a bird
who knew the bliss of dancing in the clouds
to Joyce with their feet tied to the ground.
Fallen angels never fell
They were pushed from heaven
