i use to love to your sweet laughs
your smile and everything you do
but you make regret that i ever loved you
migayle ocuaman Mar 2020
I don't feel like you know me well enough to understand...
Please let me know if you want me to stick and linger around,
Don't be sorry, if you know that I'm lonely contraband.

Dear Good Sir,

I have always voiced my thoughts and opinion
Receiving both regards to praise and criticism
Wearing my heart on my sleeve that's my conviction
Never have i deceived myself in such pragmatism
I was never bias in words I verse as I reflect
Yet you accuse me of such contempt and disrespect
Still I understand good man your grievances
But you are one in many I argued in disagreements
I had rather been quite divisive
Than to be leisurely indecisive
I can't apologize for even your legitimate allegation
I stand by my opinions even if it will mean the end our relation

Your humble colleague,
M. Ocuaman

Every war is different yet every war is the same,
Men are pawns whose lives are but just a game,
To seek glory and honour amidst the slaughter,
Here the rich profits behind such safe walls,
Hearing the of cruel echoes of this laughter,
Joined by the field of battle to which dreamers now fall,
Such is the faith of those who march with pride and shame,
To those who have fallen by such carnage and unjust death,
I raise a toast to you and a voice for the silent may you rest in eternity.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
From empty hand, we rise to meet,
Upon manless land for death to greet.
Soar to the height untilthe fall,
Mark the deeds of the valiant tall.
In end, its hand, reach to our grave,
Of those who'd come to seek the brave.
And stare the horror between the sorrow,
Grasp an idea of a better tomorrow.

In the shackles of a broken Man
In a society filled with votes
A society destroyed by hate and criticism

I am a person
That's sees it all around
The racism, hate, homeless people with no shelter with only just a news paper to help them in the coldest of nights.

It's not fair is it
It's only a matter of time until this world is gone for good,
If we opened our eyes and seen the world as of today

It wouldn't be in such a state
If we opened ours eyes today
What will happen tomorrow?

eternity that's what we call it,
its not a thing, its a meaning,
its a life span of hope,
to live on another day,
to see a different light,
its a world to look forward too,
a life to look forward to,
to know you have found....eternity
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Beauty within you grows,
Like the rivers water flows,
Filling up empty vessels
And giving life to the lands,
Truth is in the palms of your hands

you saw her smile glow so bright
you stare in such daze and delight
my heart that sings a beat aloud:
you lover her, you do
as she passes among the crowd
fills your soul with such blaze
such a sight to be praised
yet it's not enough, it was never enough.
you are allowed to watch her go
to see her off with the shadows alone
this are but illusions a trick of the mind,
as the sun devoured her away
to count the constellations
upon her wandering eyes
as they slowly fade out in a single day
for the tragedy was that
you were too late
for you have lost her
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
You and me we always gaze at the skies
But seating beside you was nothing but a lie
You said you loved me
But you only needed to be free
Being with me made you smile so bright
But nothing in those smiles was right
You were a nothing but a fake
A fake was all you made
You only needed to run away from the horrible world
So you decided to play with my feelings for who knows what worth
And now I sit on top of the hill
Oh how I wish for you to be here
I was a fool to fall in love with someone like you
You, who lied and not true
Now, I need someone to be by my side too
I need one, so can that be you?
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
How can I say this without breaking.
How can I say this without falling apart.

The words wont come out.
The sounds wont align.
But I'll stand proud.
As I sing this lullaby.
To the one I lost.
To the things I will never have.
I'll mourn what I had.
I'll mourn what could have been.
As your memory slowly fades.
I'll stand proud and sing you this lullaby.
And one day I hope someone will sing to me.
Because when my memories slowly fade.
And I'm left with nothing but pain.
I hope someone can stand proud.
And sing to me this lullaby.

Oh sweet and blissful Helena beautiful flower of this native isle's

Upon my joyful days as a youth that has once transpired

This test you have gave me, I have passed with great ease

The music that has once flowed, now has since ceased

The song's you have sung during the warm afternoon with your lyre

Sadly those grand and wondrous days have now expired

As I leave you in my most cherished memories

I have come to accept this heavy burden with peace

Oh my sweet dear Helena so young and carefree

Please do not be hurt by my words, still smile zealously for me

Our faith to one another has endured long but never enough

Now destiny seeks a different yet a much greater path

Helena the flower from the far tropical east I shall always miss

The days I've been with you has been a blessing

I shall treasure the moment when we once exchange our kiss

faith alone has brought me here
to stand firm and be with you
no matter the harsh torrents
that come roaring aloud
no matter the hurricanes
that come like an endless tide
i shall standfast ever true
for faith alone has brought me back
enough to still stand with you

I'm depress yet you say I'm overreacting
you see my tears and cuts yet you say it's for attention
you tell me I'm wrong even when we all know I'm right
it's my life, just a cycle of pain and regrets
it's not selfish of me to take my own life
after I'm dead it won't matter who I hurt
I bet you never saw the signs
everything will be over, I will be gone
I won't have to worry about everything
I will cease to exist so will this anguish
only god can come and save me
but I don't even feel his presence
it's as if he is only silently watching the scene

how can the moon still shine being so alone
how can the midnight sky be starry bright
how can nature be silent and peaceful in tone
how can the breeze whisper so cold every night
how can the stars fall sprinkle its sparks of delight
how can the world be so peaceful on its own
how can only few see such harmonious sight
how can i sleep when faced with the nights unknown
how can some rare nights bring out the natures solemn

I watched her run,
Run to see the ocean wind,
To see the timeless quality
Of the world we live in.

Her hair blew in the breeze;
She turned around and eyes were met.
My vision blurred,
My face grew wet.

I reached for her
And whispered so:
Love, take my hand
And never let go.

each sunrise has a melody
a song of light and color
in every season and weather

to those who wake to wait and watch
the daylight rise that chases the night
you will see art the of a new somber life

So many choices
In this magnificent garden
The one you will pick
The one will take away
From the place it lives
Without warning or a farewell

Because they are beautiful
They will leave sooner
Because they are beautiful
Their petals, one by one, will fade
And die as it didn't have a beginning

But their unshed tears
Will sprout and grow new succession
youths that shall bloom with vibrant beauty
And will fill the missing places in this garden...

There's nothing for you to do
you"ll keep on running around
deciphering every soul
every nightmarish scream
until you finally wake up
they'll be a distant dream
but no you're still asleep
until then keep living the lie
full of creation and ruins
even when both eyes
are open or close
you still sense each scene
you hear cold puzzling whispers
from your ear to your mind
not knowing where the voices come
till the sun rises and sets
and the gleam of the moon
your still not there quite yet

i have been falling in and out of love
and i seem to be heading to the floor
i'm close to fall asleep again
i hope its better than what i felt before
when i'm shattered like glass
i'll be fine like the star shards in the night
this heavy weights in my shoulder
feel a bit lighter as i crash and fly
as the alcohol numbs my shaky legs
i give in to the breeze and take flight
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Proud of my tears I was
They would never come
Now on bed I lay
With my eyes holding some

I was always proud
My heart was ever strong
Now in pieces it lay
I was always wrong

I wished for you to depart first
You wouldn't bear the separation scar
Now I want you back
From the land that lies a far

If I had a wish to make
Your face I wish to see
I promise I wouldn't tease
Unlike the old stupid me

Heaven is now a better place
That God blessed with you
Remember the people I loved
You were among the very few

How they ran away in fright
From a monster with flared claws
Fueled by rage and spite
Devouring what it could maw

Them and me
Them and me
A match in heaven
Made to be

They ran and hid
A monster I was depicted
Which left me livid
Of the pain they had inflicted

They sit, crouched in fear
Praying for their lives
Yet a monster is here
Armed with knives

The air grows red
Screams soar through the sky
People have bled
Oblivious of their own demise

Now I sit in an empty room
Remembering and reminiscing
The air wails with gloom
The lives perished I keep dismissing

my sweet ember rose
fire that waltz in winter
bloodstained words froze
someone that once whispers
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
To the vanishing point.
To step over bounds.
To pass limits not thought possible.
To escape the wayward path of life.
That is what it means, to achieve dreams.

It is all beyond the Vanishing Point.
So set sail through the raging oceans.
hike that treacherous beaten path.
For all the greats have before.
Where the sky and land meet.
Where two sides are the same.

your passion, rhythm and poetry
are my ecstasy, dreams and sin
all this between fantasy and reality

strangers in a midsummer dreams
lovers in a mix thrown in a spin
we know everything about this, or so it seems

Where there is darkness
A shadow creeps
People are a mess
And hope now sleeps
The world is in slumber
With demented dreams
Nothing is left to wander
As the world is filled with screams

Flowers are like life,
And life has meaning,
And meaning has purpose,
But when the flower dies,
Where would life go?

We are like those flowers,
We grow, we bloom,
We bloom, we die,
We die, but life comes back again.

When our souls are gone from the world,
Just means another soul has been born,
Our life means nothing, but everything,
For we were created with loving care.

Good or bad, naughty or nice,
Your life means something,
When you have something, you have purpose,
Meaning, you are a beautiful flower in a field.

Even if you die,
Your life means everything,
Do not take yours for granted,
For you are so much more in our eyes....

How heavy and costly the price of freedom,
Where a shepherd must tend his flocks,
and at times, fight off the wolves.

Everyone wants to be a patriot, till it's time act upon it,
to separate the wheat from the chaff.

When it's your turn to answer the Call of Duty...

Will you?
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Praying every evening,
To be free from the shackles of overthinking,
By the window I contemplate,
The days of joy and reasons of sadness,
The symphony of life, a mere dream for me,
The sun rays pinching through my skin,
Setting sun no more gives me hope,
The promises are broken and I here now sit alone,
Looking at my broken pieces shattered on the floor...
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
all this past impressions
have certain perception
full of special exemption
judge by many expectations

this fading beats of my heart
some stars are fated to fall
trapped in the living as some depart
dry tears and howling moans I reap

my senses lost to the absurd
enduring patience within my soul
broken voices singing unheard
breezes that beckon for eternal sleep
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019

names that still breathe life

She finally found her roots
She found them again
She finally found her roots
She found them within

She finally found her roots
Etched deep within her skin
Echoes of her past
She found them again

You finally found your roots
Your core soul and being
You finally found your roots
You found them again

Here I say farewell my dear friend
For its off for me to walk and go once again
The call of death that whistle the end
Above the field where no man has conquered but only lay the dead
Fear not my friend nor shed a tear in my dread
Yesteryear's youth that blossom the seasons golden past
Keep within me those gay memories of spring
For the dark storms and fierce fire shall consume me and my comrades
Light a candle in my door step will please
So if I may fall in this foreign field and my body swallowed by the soil
My soul may find its way back to the motherlands shore.

She was a beautiful lofty dream
A dream only time will fade

It's growing like a cancer
corruption in the nation
we need a solution, an answer
to address this grave question

our soul and democracy
our leaders and their hypocrisy
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
To honor thee my lofty king,
To ends I go till summer spring.
And kneel before this vow unbroken,
For long the days but whispered spoken.

As another dawn the sky fall clear,
Set loose, I shall, to death unfeared.

careful to not play with the flames of the candle that keeps you alight and warm,
careful not to be fooled by its sweet scent a rose can give with it sharpest thorns,
careful not to jump on the edge of a cliff to which the abyss urges you to do,
careful to make a promise that you could never keep for we both play lies and tricks,
careful to preach words of comfort just to make sins in the shadows.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Oh my god in politics we trust
nothing more they can discuss
A solution that seems to be a bust
While the poor rabble in the dust
Look about slaughtered and disgust
Reasons to why people make a fuss
Some rage and ready to combust
Yet other our silent as a hush
Its people only need to adjust
To a law or order that seems to be unjust
On men we thought we could entrust

It washes, it cleanses,
It cleans, it dries.
Brings you to your senses,
Or, it tries.

It teaches, it learns,
The hurtful lessons.
It scratches, it burns,
Breaks all your possessions.

Changes with time, for better or worse,
Brings you to your knees.
Its sharp, its dull,
It could even leave you in a hearse.

It is life, it is death.
It is wasted on everybody's breath.
It is wasted on everybody's breath.
It is pain.

I see sphere of moonlight glowing far
It shines in the night like a living star
Pulsing with my heartbeat
Shining with my joy
You will always be here
As will I
For if I leave I know I will cry
So I ask the world
Make it so I can never say goodbye

hear the cold whisper faint yet so clear
from the shadows who wish to spark the light
hear them whisper a cry from the ruins that remain
from those in darkest despair and left forgotten
they remember well and we shall hear too
the voices that still whispers freedom
hear the resounding and never ending call
hear it rally men and women of all ages
it is calling you to rise up from the ashes
for the voices that still whispers freedom
history calls your name to give what needs be

shall you shout like thunder and strike like lightning?
shall you join the spark the waits in the dark to be set a flame?
shall you join when the time is right with courage and faith?
what is your answer?

hear the voices from the underground...
that whisper through the ruins of man... freedom

Limitless shocking ecstatic exposing rhymes
Poisonous pills to calm this maddening mind
Clear and vague are the thoughts that hover
Paralyzing ringing humming whispering shouting
Meager sessions full of pointless evaluation
Reflecting through a perception bemused by it all
Lightning genius that strike my crumbling temple
Pretentious porcelain mask that hide Cheshire smiles
I have a good heart albeit I'm drowning in hysteria
How deep are this oceans how dark are this halls
Misery doubts on each progressive success
the horror and fright filled with shrieking delight...

...Doctor I think I've fallen deeper than I actually thought,
This disillusions keeps tearing me apart...
...Please tell me what all this cryptic symbols mean...
Sorry Doctor if I can't tell if I'm still here...
within this hallow shell is there someone worth saving...

do the flowers still bloom where you live
do the green fields give the calm relief to forgive
you were a sweetheart who left a love at bay
you have left nothing but fond memory that day
sweet youth still naive filled with grand dreams
when all she loved and hoped for seems
oh faithful heart are you forever nineteen

how the sun shines from under the clouds
a warm breeze that makes the trees dance
waltzing, drifting, dreaming, far from the crowds
i wonder if you stayed would you had a better chance
what remains are this photos behind a glass pane
the sorrow, the suffering, the glory, the shame
oh faithful heart are you forever nineteen

your laughter and glee still echoes to me
from the grave you rest you are but free
faithful is the love your memory enshrined
of a young sweetheart you left behind
among the brave unknown fallen soldiers
you lay upon this field shoulder to shoulder
oh faithful heart you are forever nineteen

you who answered and believed in the call
young and rash you were with countless others
a generation that was butchered and ****** to fall
the killing and dying among his fellow brothers
nameless white crosses silently they stand
here in this graveyard it's still no man's land
oh faithful heart you are forever nineteen

How beauty is admired through a rose,
The scent so sweet, so perfect, so pure as her soul,
How it blooms from the spring winds that pass,
A little waltz has performed again perhaps.

Oh how the gentle breeze that surrounds and flows,
The day is lovely, so grand for a little stroll,
The garden with bountiful flowers that grow,
Spring has returned as they felt it row upon row.

The warm day is great as the flow of cool air,
Greeting spring again with loving arms and care,
How we miss the times that you were once here,
Throughout the seasons we could no longer bare.

Yet as time flies you will leave soon,
As the day sets and ends arise a bright moon,
We will treasure the moments, the joy you left by,
Until another visit, we Will be patient, farewell and goodbye.

How music flows throughout the warm zealous air,
well delivered for every ear,
How grand, how optimistic it spreads for all to hear,
It gives us hope so non shall fall nor fear,

It is the art that all men wish to follow the melody they seek,
It blends all emotions of man too its greatest peak,
All the pain and joy in a harmonious union of peace,
Creating a portrait that fades as it molds to the perfect piece,

— The End —
