And then
there was nothing
and in that nothing
I realised
we could be everything

Don’t love me
in disguise
I am honestly
not clever enough
or big enough
for the surprise

Sometimes I think
tears are just whispers
nobody
hears

And though I tried to hide
my smile
you found it

I am so not sure
that I have  found
the love  I have waited for
have longed for
or that I have found the love
I have always been
bound for
no matter the why and wherefore
of whatever I have
ever
ever
longed for.

I am no poet
truth be told
who amongst us is?
I am just rearranging words
to suit my mood

I am searching for
myself
and those I do not know
deep in a world
where truth is not
the enemy
