When I see you on the train. you only take a quick glance.
No you dont know me , but tell me your name. Lets take a chance.
Ask me out for coffee, lunch or dinner.
Yes I'd let you kiss me right now. We could both be sinners.
Ask for my number or just give me a smile.
Take a seat next to me and we'll speak for a while.
Instead you continue to take glances.
And we miss out on our chances.
Then either of our stops come up.
And we walk out on who knows maybe what could have been love.

Slide your hand
down my back
your fingertips
are bound to crack
the code my skin
presents to you
I feel as though I fall for you.

snap

And it's all gone
My mind is taking
Over now
This horrible place
Holds me still
Captive in here
Beyond my will

but your love remains strong
and you don't let go
and I grab the rope
you've throw down this well
and it's a hard climb up
but it's worth the work

You'll never know how much you're worth

Overwhelmed
if you hold up your thumb
and cover any sliver of the night sky
you are ignoring ten billion galaxies
with all their trillions of stars
each one possibly containing planets
each one possibly containing life
each one possibly holding up their thumb
and removing you from their consciousness
just as easy as that
I light the kindling
And a warm and orange glow
Fills the little room
Outside, from afar, wolves howl
As the moonlit snow sparkles

Like Snowflakes

I've heard it's like time stopping.

the world becomes a blur
and everything seems so
insignificant

I want it to be more.

Have you ever walked outside,
to find yourself walking around
inside a life-size snow globe?
Not a blizzard, mind you,
but a snow globe.

the biggest, most beautiful flakes
drift down slowly, and,
as if they're savoring the ride,
rest on your coat,
your scarf, your eyelashes,
they adorn your hair

You stand there and take it all in,
and when the air is quiet,
life is a movie for just a few seconds.

everything is in slow motion,
and you hate the fact
that you have to go inside,
to the noise,
to real life

That's what I want
when I kiss you
-- a breathtaking moment
that's better than the movies.
also old, I had it saved as a draft

Silent Zee
I am lost and adrift
on a sea of endless gloss
and the air is rank with putridity.
The fog rolls over and on end,
a sleepless infant afflicted by illness,
and I cannot see where I have come from.

A light shines off and away,
in a losing battle against the billows
that engulf me where I float.
The boat is easy to rock and sway
and would be an easy victim of the waves
were there any to rock it.

The light beckons and weeps, relentlessly,
her tears lost on me in the mist
that now coats my entire body.
I've long since lost my oars
and there are no waves to speak of,
     *I cannot reach her....

I

can't...
