The earth spins, oblivious to the singular orbit
of my own heart.
Its grand narratives unfold, stories whispered
on winds that do not solely carry my name.
I am a universe contained,
galaxies swirling within skin and bone.
My sun rises and sets
according to an internal clock,
a rhythm felt only by me.
The world exists, a stage vast and varied,
but my performance is for an audience of one.
My applause, my tears, my understanding –
these echo within the chambers of my own soul.

Wisdom from love
Dhaval May 28
Love always comes with a cost,
a delicate balance of give and take.
Sometimes it's sleepless nights,
uncomfortable truths, or small sacrifices.
Sometimes the price paid leaves you
with lessons etched in tears and
chapters closed with a heavy heart.
Yet, other times, the cost is an investment in laughter  that echoes, an unwavering hand
in hardship, a shared journey of
immeasurable value and support.
Knowing when the price is worth the profound reward is the truest wisdom love imparts.

Walking away
Dhaval May 27
Love is not easy to find.
Sometimes you think you have,
But that's not true.
You try your hardest to make it work,
But the puzzle pieces just won't click.

Sometimes it's not the right person,
Sometimes not the situation's prime.
A mismatched dance, a broken beat,
Lost in the rhythm of time.

You pour your soul, you give your all,
Only to watch the fragile dream fall.
Yet in the quiet of a fading day,
You learn to gently walk away.
