I'm made of clay
I can be anything
Cars, planes
Trees, bees
But when I change
Will I stay the same?

This life, this death
Was it all controlled?
This world, this ruin
Was it made with certainty?
This mind, this fight
Was it all because of worship?
This city, this blight
Was it designed for love or hate?
This sight, this light
Was it enough to satisfy?
This future, this fight
Was it yours or mine?
Chandy Aug 13
Running in circles
Connecting to infinity
Repeating the mistakes
That crippled our ancestors
All for naught, absence
Of value long divided
Now the light in our eyes
It is a mere reflection
Of a crystal without friction
No need for correction
It knows the correct direction
Chandy Aug 13
Lapse of judgment
Causing a relapse
The laps of comfort
Turn to a race
Now all the flags
Turn to a trap
Cracking and creaking
Winded by the thunder
Another apparatus
Alive without living
Total collapse without a cost
They said it was over
So said the healer
So said the teacher
Plastered to the ground
Like the kids and their future
Chandy Aug 12
Rage and regret
For the longest time
Wishing for the chance
To rewrite and redo our lives
Preventing this decay
Now it derails
Rain falls down
Dragging down
Pain falls down
Breaking down
Ridiculed, no romance
One day of fire
Breaks these weak stone hands
Now the air whispers lies
That goes away with the tide
Chandy Aug 12
Phantoms of life
Begging for the world to come
For their age to begin
For paradise to shine
Now we fight even more
No mercy for the low
Resurrecting the dead
Saving the broken
To control their life
Senseless devotion

Tech has advanced
While we go backward
An immature species
Using AI
So they can never think
Tech has advanced
Yet our lives have declined
To all of you, I ask
Is this the world we should keep alive?
