The living envy the dead
The dead envy not even one
Peace is a distant memory
Only available to the ignorant
Until it begins to harm you
You never cared about humanity
Humans are created to be machines
Gone is the world of sanity
Now we remember
There is no justice or morality
All words that can be ignored
Saving the world?
Cannot agree on saving ourselves
We are our own downfall
No invasion, no climate
Just us, begging for the end

Venom overflowing
Poison growing
You want to get better
But you drank it
You want to be happy
But you breathe it
You want to be loved
But you deal in hatred
The house has won
You put it all on black
Now you will come out red

We gained our pride
Lost our dignity
Now all that remains
Are fractured identities
Decimation, the core of humanity
For destructive beings
Is there an end to enmity?

Your structures, all I do is see through them
Selfish systems surrounding
Millions, billions
Alone yet near
Far yet close
Drawn into it as I walk away
Wondering if any of this would matter
If it was just me?
The more aware I became
The more aloof I believed
Now we brag and proclaim
About our lives filled with shame
As our materials become ourselves
When a number measures our value
Does that mean we inherently have no meaning?

Stretched thin
Between the lines
Of death and life
How can you save others
When life is absent
Of stability, nobility
Lessening tranquility
Living lies while people realize
They could have prevented all of this
If they spoke with their eyes

Launching toward the stars
I reach out to you
Watching you leap into the sky
Only to crash down below
You had a foundation
You had a plan
But no one ever asked
If it were ever yours

From myth
To legend
Your fire sparks
Until the dead of the night
Whispers of valor
Whimpers of glamor
As you lose, you die
