Chandy Sep 2020
How much inspiration-
In a desolate world
Has been given out
By corporate masses?
Chandy Sep 2020
Picked up the phone
Just to call you
...
Why?
Even a lock has transparency.
Chandy Sep 2020
Easy as pie?
Harder than fudge.
Difficult to come by:
A judge with no grudge
Chandy Sep 2020
Struck down by time
Perfunctory
We all chase the days away
While begging for more
Chandy Sep 2020
Tears
In your eyes
I'm not a bad man
I can only be
Just a man
Broken, but moving forward
Chandy Sep 2020
Onto a beam of light; I collided
Large impact
Devoid of pain?
Interesting.
Like the flash of lightning
A being stood before me
Hunched over
With tired eyes
Highlighted by malice
Familiar, yet otherwordly
As if it were a busy subway tram--
The Lighter barreled toward me
With one hand
I grabbed it
It wanted to dance
Soon, I grew bored
The rhythm of the Lighter
Took it off, toward the edge
The Lighter had fallen.
Chandy Sep 2020
Falling
Into the depths
A pitch-black void
Covered in a thin veil of static
Noiseless
Yet defeating in silence
In the distance-
Silhouettes
Falling as I am...
...where am I?
