I wish it would
well rain harder
I wish that
the sky water would be salty
like my tears.
this way both could slide down my face unidentifiable
I wish the thunder was louder
just to help save me from my thoughts

I love how
well simply how
I'm walking to the beat,
crunching gravel to meet the sound
of my favorite song
even though it's no longer playing
I love that
the rain is blurring my vision
eventhough I couldn't see anyway
I love that with every step
I'm taking a shower
the rain provides me with good cleansing
I'm slowly scrubbing away every
remark, laugh, judge, scar and stain
and as my jeans, blouse, and shoes get wet,
I'm washing away some of this too
hidden deep within the seams

and yet some people wonder
why
why does she like the rain
well
It's not just rain
it's a friend
that I can talk to and actually leave with
a cleansed soul.

Sometimes it's good to dream
It's good to dream when
You have no hope,
No safe house,
No peaceful place,
No where to be free.

We dream about many things.
We dream about being alive,
Being the best,
Being noticed,
Being there for the ones we love.

But if we dream to much.
We never stop dreaming,
We forget what's real or what
We make up.
Sometimes it's best to let dreams
Be dreams,
And let reality be it's cruel self,
And just accept our fate
But sometimes our fate awaits us
In our dreams.

Our dreams sometimes makes our
Fate and dreams also have the ability
Ot change our fate,
And give us new meaning,
A meaning only few will understand.
We were all made to dream.
So dream all that your heart
Desires.
For one day your heart will stop
To desire.

skyler
it drains you of everything you have
when you lose someone you love
you forget how to function
and it takes ages to relearn how to live

you will spend so many nights
clutching your knees screaming into tear soaked pillows
racking your brain for some reason as to why
you just weren't good enough
that when you finally have a night
where you just lay down and sleep
you will wake up in confusion
feeling uncomfortable without streams of sorrow
but even then the nights are still restless
because they lace your dreams like drugs slipped into unwatched drinks
more than ever

you will spend so many days
walking to destinations with no purpose
following a meaningless schedule
but you won't remember a minute of it
because your brain is constantly hazy
like the loss of them is a thick fog settling on the world around you

you will fight so many times
not to breakdown when you hear their name
constantly taming tears biting at the back of your eyes
taking deep breaths to loosen your tightened throat
you will fall to your knees on the bathroom floor
staring into the porcelain bowl in front of you
as your vision swirls with the water
and you sit in a pain you could never have imagined

you will be heartbroken for too long
with a piece of you gone
knowing there is nothing you could do
to fix it

We all can love,
And we all can forgive.
These two go hand in hand.
One cannot be without the other.

We love but cannot forgive.
We love someone but once they do us wrong we cannot forgive them.
So, did we truly love them?

We forgive but do not love.
We can forgive the harm that someone had done,
But we no longer love them the same.
So, did we truly forgive them?

To truly love is to truly forgive.
Love opens the door to the heart,
And forgiveness shines the light on the darkness inside.
