Writhing, churning the mind of insolence
A seething Pain oozing, creating a trance
Suspended inside undulating darkness
And heavy chains shackling lightness
Ripples, swaying the animated mirrors
Reflecting violent, psychotic thoughts
Unabashed by the reality collapsing in
Leaving a hollow, empty husk therein

A cold December day, I see it in my dreams
White dazzling snow below an icy breeze
Everywhere, all around me, shuffling feet
Like beehives pouring across the street
Do I see red? Inside a sea of sugar icing
As if its a cherry on the top of a cake, waiting
Closer, I go towards it like a birthday boy
My eyes glinting like its my christmas present
I reach it, the growing mystery finally resolved
SLAP! Right in my face, awake, back in class

The midnight soul, in its angelic form
Waiting for the last train on the platform
The midday body, like a withered leaf
Seeing the train leave in utter disbelief
As the clock ticks forward the body fades
Time, as they say, an enemy that breaks
Only the soul remains at the strike of twelve
And a dark night overpowers the shining day

Infinite, trapped inside layers of dreams
It is the inconceivable limit of all minds
Motionless but somehow always moving
As if it is the night sky, constantly shifting
A state of perfection is its paradoxical utopia
Imperfect and breaking logical reasoning
Because then it would make everything, finite

Still, as the untouched glass of water
Flowing, as the memories dissolve inside
Absolute, as its essence remains unchanged
Wavering, as it absorbs the experiences
Time unhinges the very fabric of existence
Only to become its preexisting condition

Summer, when we still had our milk teeth
Calling to me like that long lost friend
Instant crush on seeing that bar of KitKat
While waiting in line to see Harry Potter
The magic hidden in Grandma's kitchen
And the countless memories of her youth
Fall, bringing us back to the classrooms
And making the summer a part of the past

Sweet dreams, I am finally asleep
I can see the colors on your window
Casted by every smile on your face
Mesmerizing the eyes of my heart
With your soft lips, a piece of art
Tonight I just want to be on your side
Just us until the first rays of sunshine
