Sometimes a book can transform your life
For me it was David Markson

I read him literally thousands of times
While others listened to Kelly Clarkson

Who is this guy?  I kept asking
And what have I discovered?

His last four novels, if you call them that
A reading experience like no other

A toast to you, Mr. Markson
And your wisdom way with words
