Eye & minds

Heavenly Father
I take Thy hand
Lord, guide me as a child
When it comes to prayer
The innocence in which they are blessed
Beneath your tender care
Deep within my soul
Lives the child of innocence
Who has found assurance
Your love and protection
Always there
When a child's world is in turmoil
That is when we children reach out our hands
Where no words are spoken
As God Always understands
He is The Child's Savior
He will guide us with His plan
If only we will give Him
The faith of a child
In the midst of catastrophe

Many times when I write poetry
The Holy Spirit takes hold of me
I come up with my own ideas
His light then shines bright
Inside my mind
Opening me to subjects
My brain would never find
Concepts so many say
Are taboo
Come flowing through
Senses I do not normally use
I wish I could explain
In layman's terms
Yet, I cannot find
Descriptive wordly yearns
Of how these heartfelt
Ideas do burn
Except for to say
Father God will always
Carry out His way

We have special talents
When the time comes

Now that my cognitive memory
Is slipping away
So is my ability
To write poetry
It is a challenge
I so desire it to permantely stay

I trust The Holy Spirit
As my route to go
This morning I have read
Poems I have composed
In the past
I have come to a realization
Even though I do not remember
Them, the ones with great meaning
Have embedded in my heart
They will forever last

A gift
Our Father
Has given me
A tool
To remember my past
To carry on
His legacy
To show others
No matter what troubles
Approach in life
His peace will

Worry about the

My mind is but a bottomless pit

Then I remember The Truth
The Holy Spirit is with me
Forever, never leaving my side

The Holy Spirit
Guiding me to The Light

Confrontation
It is the best switch

On our journey together
Through turbulence
Of youth delight
A masterpiece
Forever contriving
To reignite
Sessions acrewing
Wisdom throughout
This journey
Gently tuck away
Locked deep within
Hearts guiding through
The darkest nights

Comes sunshine

The earth is God's
