Sweet Nightmare Apr 2017
Smile is a lie;
worn not spoken,
seen and sometimes heard,
concealer of genuine emotions.

Scary what it can hide:
screaming pain
and intolerable longing.
A covenant they made for themselves.

Masters of constancy;
different emotions,
indistinguishable curve.
Fearing to be branded as wimps.

Soon time will come
When bearing is too much
Overwhelmed with sadness
In their graves they'll lie smiling sadly.
Sweet Nightmare Apr 2017
We have once received kisses from the angels
Kisses of sweetness with tender aftertaste
With those we have shared wonderful memories
We'll  never forget and forever cherish

We have once laughed with laughters like symphonies
And would cry together for each one's sadness
Time has made us forget what real world was like
Trying to be someone's part of someone's life

But just like any other profound music
There is always a chance of rhymes running out
The certain fate of everything to just end
Seemed closer like whisper becoming a shout

Now that the world's only constant have touched us
We have nothing else to do but reminisce
The times we've been kissed of such fading kisses
Kisses we have lost, kisses we'll surely miss
A poem for broken friendship
