Dainty frill below the waist
Elegance—a chalk line around her body
Warmth still there today
Even though she’s not
There’s a single stain,
“shush,” there was a stain
Now just folds of blankets
Mountains upon valleys
Caverns and river basins
All the way to him
In her spot, alone,
Finger on the stain
With ***** nails,
And foam eyes.
