Big Oil
the kid at the birthday party
who smashed the cake
with a stubborn fist,
cause he didn’t get enough.
Environmentalists
nerds studying
ants with magnifying glasses
radical methods
to peaceful madness.

Meanwhile
webbed chains
splash like tired confetti
light steeps a seeping cast,
sun-blind eyes fret liquid darkness,
shadows whisper poison.

a necessary evil,
when fingers of ink
strangle ice puzzles?
we say it was *not intentional

             but selfish risks
under laser lights
for sonic boomers
that will soon die,
leave a deaf horizon.
idk
