Do I really care about you?
Holding hands over a pond where ducks reside.
Laying our hearts and minds together.
Connecting we can feel that we love each other.
Is it a question or has it always been this way?
Do I really care about you?
The boring days make me want to be with you.
The exciting days have me imagine you by my side.
Longing.
Belonging.
I need you to be mine, I need you.
Is this what I couldn't see?
Do I really care about you?
Pain and love connect us.
History binds us.
Future awaits us.
The boring days we have only make me appreciate you more.
I love you but.. Do I really care about you?
My heart has worn to nothing.
All I feel is empty.
Alone, just like always.
