Oct 2014
Like a door being opened, from a dark room
Like a window, opened to capture a cool summer breeze
Like a frozen lake for the spring thaw
Or a child's first taste of birthday cake
Like the billions of stars
That magically appear in the night sky
When you leave the bright city lights
Like my heart, waking from a cold sleep
From years of emptiness
Only to be ****** into the arms
Of the most enchanting creature in the universe
