I look in others eyes,
What do I see
Hate, spite, and misery
Yet now I've found if I give them
Some patience, understanding, and love
Anyone can rise above
When it comes down to it
We are all the same
Despite our intolerance we all carry shame
If only we could learn
To acknowledge one another's fears
The hatred, spite, and misery
Inside our eyes would disappear.
