Don't rest or wake

Never stop

Pose for the light of the day

Somewhere on the coast

They'll see your plane

And you'll know that somebody will miss you that way

They'll remember your

Eyes as you left

All those promises you couldn't keep

You're a child now

Waiting in the wings

For these storm clouds to break

You're flowers tossed on a

Empty casket and a marked grave

You're the first time you saw the blue skies

And wanted to stake your claim

You're a million tears

A cautionary tale

And more a dream than any human could ever be.
