Please stop,
sneaking into my dreams
leaving your memory in my mind
and reminding my heart
of what love was;
before I lost it

I need you,
to leave me alone
and stop your incessant lingering
you need to move out,
of the back of my mind
and take with you,
all of your kind words
and your gentlest kisses

I want you to come back
and be mine again,
hold my hand
and my hips,
and me
just a little longer
until I feel safe

I know the distance
is too far to cross
your away and awakened
by someone else's sweet embrace
so you need to leave

my heart,
is no longer your home
