We photograph ourselves,
to remind each other,
of who we are.
But these pictures end up on endless shelves,
as nobody will even bother,
as they are busy showing off their new car.
We don't realize the image we show,
is not really who we are,
but who we wish others thought we were,
and with this mentality we will never grow,
and we will never get very far,
as we alter ourselves for what others prefer.
