Old knees creaking
Never really running and never giving in
And their souls are screaming
For the graves beckoning

Deep in the hearts of flowers
Where the fragrances lie dormant still
There are burning desires
Where shadows flirt
And minds still deny
A destiny unfruitful

And that is where my heart does lay
Where your feet walked upon the earth
And your smile rushed through the mirth
And that is where my heart does lay
Where your fragrance still is felt
And your lips touched mine
And no war will erase this memory
