I'm here!
I swear I'm here,
I'll never leave your side,
and though I know you don't always believe me,
I love you,
and you are beautiful.

I'm sorry we don't talk every day,
I'm sorry I can't always be by your side,
I'm sorry I can't protect you.

Come with me,
let us block out the world,
if only for a while,
let us feel valued.

I wonder why,
the rest of the world don't see you,
like I do.
What do they see,
when they look at you?
For they can't be seeing the same thing I do,
otherwise they would know how lucky they were,
just to have met you.

I'm not always there,
but I want to be,
I want to help,
but how do you defeat an enemy,
that is inside you?

You do not see what I do,
but I see someone who can conquer the world,
I see someone who can write,
who saved me,
and never lets me wonder far.

I'm here!
Please just know I'm here,
and I love you.
