Jan 2014
her lips are sealed and free
of grease
she dreams of smudged
paintings and flower stems cut out
and planted around a bed of
dying leaves
that fell from the strings stained by melancholy
twining around the branches
where a boy hung, with blue feet
yearning to be free.©
