there was little martian a funny man was he
he had a little space ship and flew round the galaxy
he had pointy ears and a funny nose
his feet were very odd just like his funny toes
he took a trip to earth he heard so much about
landed down his ship then slowly he got out
he saw lots of buildings high up in the sky
with lots and lots of people as they went walking by
he saw lots of children having lots of fun
playing in the park in the summer sun
the martian he joined in it was something new
playing games or mars martians do not do
he thanked all the children and wave them the all goodbye
then back to his planet the martian he did fly
