Feb 2021
a hint of cardamom
a touch of saffron
a dash of rose water
beneath those lashes
you gaze up at me
rye tickling your iris
light grazes the hue
like a never setting sun
an iridescent spectacle
hearts throbbed to see
such perturbing beauty
what an arrogant tease
those coffee stained lips
will be the death of me
