You came like lightening
Glorious and frightening
And when I looked at you
Through a silverish black perview
And saw my age and your age
I the older would give my life's wage
To keep you here

But like lightening beautiful and brief
Inciting awe and grief
Silent and loud
A powerful cloud
Hid you from me and left me wet
In ****** streaks of rain swept
Away in hurricanes of grief

I wanted you!
I love you!
But that wasn't enough to make you stay
Goodbye baby
