A man tired of his labors
knelt in the valley to pray.
To ask the lord a few questions and hear what God had to say.

"Alas..." the man finally began.
"All this weight I've had to bare. My life has been hard lord.
I hardly think it to be fair."

"I know the road can be tough." God replied.
"Sometimes you just can't win. Look at the scars on my back.
I took them to carry your sin."

"These calloused hands and feet lord?"
"Its so hard to work and to walk."
God then shown his hands and feet and reminded him how he was mocked.

"I am hungry lord!" the man cried.
Opening his hands up wide.
" I am the bread of life." God replied.
Then revealed the wound on his side.

"But I have nothing lord."
his countenance hanging way down.
" I wore thorns on my head." said God.
" So that one day you may wear a crown."

"I cannot bear the burden my lord." said the man as he knelt and cried.
"I love you more then you know." said God.
"That is why on the cross...I died."
