Where are you when the world has its errand
Where are you when your son's crying
What are you up to when the rats are plotting
to filch the cheese that you've been hiding ?

When the moon shines so bright
You can see the glimmering lights
When gazing up in the night sky
With danger, these sturdy flaring eyes
Able to see, yet can't  recognise

In the morning it seems unclear
What have you been doing
when there's a smoke in the air
Oh it's just a fog, you know, the globe's warming
1..2...3... bang! The world--it's smashing.

How are you, your son's shouting
How are you, why aren't you moving
Are you just going to stand?
Come, hold him with those shaky hands
Oh shut up, don't cry, hail to this dying land!

It's your fault, those filthy innocent eyes
Hope you don't mind, I gave you a sign
To run, to hide but you chose to climb
Now look at you and look at me
both bathing in blood, where's our fam'ly?

Oh, they're here and everywhere
Here's  their blood painting the shattered walls
What are you going to do now?
You are alone, come, clean up those tears
Come to me, let's walk and get out of here, now and forever.
