seems that we can't undo
what's already been undone

I thought I'd tell you, but you know,
when the stars stop exploding
this is the time we part and you
must go

tie up our promises in memories
tie up our souls with the farewell
let loose our tears in silken handkerchiefs
right or wrong I think we know which one,
but for sure only the hands of time
can tell.
