An evening walk turned into a story
A memory from gold dust to jewellery
The day known to me and not easy to forget
For that's the day I let loose and let her steal my heart
Bedazzled by her on first acquaintance.
My lips went silent of words
No clue on how to start complimenting a stranger
Whose looks were ones that never fell into my sight
A hello was like the first verse of a song
I was nervous and it made her smile
She knew I was shy and afraid to take the step but still stood with eyes daring me to confess all that was burning inside of me
I admired everything of hers from head to toe and then gave her the chorus to the song she wanted to listen to
I told her I was in love at first sight
