If breathing was an option,
would people breathe at all?
If it was still necessary to function,
how many would learn the skill?

If breathing was an option
like some part of a game
that we could turn on and off,
would we remain the same?

If breathing was an option,
who would choose to turn it on?
The better question would be how;
perhaps if oxygen was gone.

I'm making an assumption
although it may not be true,
but if breathing was an option,
I think I'd turn it off.
