I want to disentangle the layers of your skin
Peeling back what makes you tick
Fury that ate your intellect and makes me sick
Sinful but you don’t see
What you have done to me
Through bone and shards of glass
Right into the center of my youth
Tempting me with your kindness that I believed all too well
As my skeletal frame reached for you
I have something that is for you
You attend church for the sins you committed
Setting you at ease
While you hold your prayer beads
I bleed
The insides of my eyes can’t see anymore
Blackness that carved my soul in half
You have to be surgically removed from my head
