Sinking ship, one way ticket to hopelessness,
Alluring decor, bathed in beauty, misleads your comfort.
Would you take a blind step out it's doors if fate had you open it?
Or do you allow what's sinking to become sunken as you wait and sit?

Tragedy, a heartbeat away, I see dancing, laughter and only times of euphoria.
Though a word from wise to wise may ignite the suppressed flame, hysteria.
Few take heed, most will never care , but leave none unaware.
The inevitable scene of this ship submerged draws near.

The time has come and death peaks through the window.
Hesitations complicates everything that can be simple.
Listen to the words, allowed to live another day, another way.
Through you I reflect and look back at that sunken ship as I drift further away ..
