too many wishes hidden under my bed,
everynight when i try to sleep,
they put my head in their lap,
and sing lullabies to me,

too many wishes hidden under my bed,
when i try to wake up,
they,like growing vines,,
cover my whole body and face,

too many wishes hidden under my bed,
whenever i try to be happy,
they show up their wicked smile,
to remind me of things i dont have,

too many wishes hidden under my bed,
whenever i try to move on,
they chain my feet like those heavy iron chains,
and i am a prisoner to those unwanted yet badly wanted wishes,,,,,
