Never could ' can't , never would
Put that much value into a stone~
They call them precious stones , gems and metals
With feeling they are as cold and dead as bone~
I'd rather give a lifetime of flowers
And my unconditional true love~
I'd rather always be there for a friend
As expected by my very heart~
I could never see the value in
A rock because its as old as time~
In no way I concider them to be
As valuable a love I know thats mine~
Even for the shortest while
To hold it close to me~
Way more precious than any rock
That could ever be ~
In every way and if ever every day
I"d spend loving her just that much more~
Not a single stone or rock or gem
Could replace a love that I adore~
