The key turned around,as the engine roared,
I took off swiftly, as my vehicle seemingly soared,
But alas, this momentum was short lived,
For everything ahead was a mess, here comes my time to crib

Cars, buses and bikes,
Cutting lanes, halting time, if only they could take a hike,
Away from the concrete path of serenity,
I honked, dipped my headlights, but that only works on those with integrity

Some things are out of our control,
So i flashed my indicator, as my mechanical carriage exhibited some body roll,
I alerted the traffic police,
As they advanced toward the head of the signal, they blew their whistles, causing all the offenders to freeze,
Justice had prevailed, for the time being,
If only everyone felt some empathy, our roads would be uniform and free
