In the dark night
the waves pounded
the wind blew
but that was above the seas surface
below you was where the manta ray danced
around in the light of the swimmers flash light
fish would gather to join in the dance
and we watched in amazement
they would dance to the music of the ocean
the bubbles
the waves
we were part of the atmosphere
but not part of the dance
how I wish
that someday
I will join the dance of the manta ray.
