Watching you, staring out the window
Out onto fields and cities wide
Looking for places to run, places to hide
But you can't hide

It's too far to walk and It's too short to run
It's too fun to measure and it's all so much fun

Nothing really cries out, nothing makes a sound
Running up the letters, making you cry loud
Does it need to be like this, it's all i really want
Do we need to stay here, and watch us fade away

I will not let you lie here, letting your life fade away
Because I know you will not let me, fade away

Reading is for concerts, and playing is for home
Can nobody win this game, against the garden gnome?
Seems a shame to let it go, to let it fade away
But then again, neither of us exist, anyway

Let it all run wild, let the grass grow long
Let it all overflow, while we all are gone
For when we return we shall fix
all the stones and broken bricks
It was made for us to break, it was made for us to fix
Life is just one big game, of old fashioned pick up sticks

It's our individual differences that let it sound the same
It's our geotypes and phenotypes that make it sound the same
It's the meaning of life, the universe and everything
It's the one small thing that keeps the clock tick, tick ticking

Why can we not see it?
Why does it hurt our eyes?
It's the inconvenient truth
our own genetic lies

It was our grand fathers fathers
And their fathers too
That created this here world
for me and you
But they made it wrong
They should of took their time
Instead they made it quick
Polluting yours and mine
Though we can make it better
If we take our time
We can make it better, for yours and mine

The skin of the world, is about to shed quick
The sun that moves closer, closer, closer
The top of our world is about to move south
The inside of the earth, is about to reach the mouth
And it's our fault, for not saving lives
We are the ones that let the bees out the hives
For two pounds a month we can save a small childs life
For three pounds a month we can sign up to xbox live
It's not our genetics that make us who we are
It's who we are inside, our thoughts, our feelings

Is it right that we have what they don't?
Should we divulge, in what they lack.
We sing this song, so they can sing it back
We all stand together
One earth
One thought
One fact
Help us all to make it so, let's change the world today
For we all stand together
One earth
One thought
One fact
A poem/song about the world and how it makes no sense.
