the sun goes down
as the moon comes up.

the children sleep
as the critters creep.

the river flows
while the ocean glows.

its a peaceful night in
the town.

every one is sleeping
peacefully into the
night.

while the wolves roam
free in the mystic shadows.

a baby cries in the
night.

the wolves search
for the cry of the child.

the baby stops as the
wolves appear.

the leader sniffs than
picks her up to carry her
to the family of no child.

they scatter as the
sun rises.

the child cries out
for love.

when out of no where
the doors opens.

the baby is taken
into the warmth of
a mother and is at
ease.

as the town sings
the baby closes her
eyes,

and drifts into a
warm peaceful
dream,

with her guardian
angels of the
mystic night.
