Aug 2012
Rising and falling,
your chest creating ripples across the bed.
Sunlight cascades down your face and leaks onto your limbs.
I am lost in a world of you.
The gentle thudding of your heartbeat,
keeping in time with mine.
A barely audible exhale escapes from your parted lips,
that which I hold the privilege to kiss.
It's simple.
My favorite memory,
kept snugly between you and the sheets.
