On my way
not sure where
but probably into
today

I was on my way yesterday
and that was into today too

although today yesterday
was quite different.

But I'm going
moving along and
somewhere in a chamber
deep in my heart
there's a song.

Most passengers have their
eyes shut
blocking out the light
but
not me
I want to see what's coming.

It's already dull
the tube is full
I know
it's raining outside
but
can't hide in here forever

the cleverest thing by far
would be to create an
avatar
and send that to work instead.

Here among the living dead
I'm becoming what I already
saw coming.
I
should have kept my eyes closed.
