Silence used to be my friend
Lonliness was always by my side
But I have now a little Godsend
He likes to play games and hide.
He is a constant joy
his little tail wagging to and fro
I love him with all my heart, my boy
and he answers to the name of Joe.
My little puppy Joe is a delight
I get woken with a warm friendly lick
and that is in the middle of the night
but it is he that now makes me tick.
He keeps me going, my furry friend
and IJoe love him with all my heart.
