My heart stirs.
in fear.
of nostalgia.

of being entrapped
in the raging winds
of happiness.
of sadness.
of fallen hopes.

of putting together
the fragments
of its broken parts, again.

of instilling the belief
that it is all right, again.

of healing, again.

my heart trembles
at every thought
of moments that
once filled with
euphoric charm.
beacuse now, it wrenches
its every corner in endless pain.

my heart skips a beat
everytime there's rain
of memories
as every drop holds
the power
of drowning me
in the ocean of time
again.
