There's a man on the corner
We share the same name
Keeps glancing at his watch
Like it's got something to say
But the only plan
A watch ever makes
Is to give away
The time of day

And that's where he stands
Passing the time
This man on the corner
With the same name as mine
Not really sure
What he's hoping to find
But happy with this corner
That he has in life
