I should have known when you sympathized with Daisy
What you were capable of.
You really do smash things up and retreat into your carelessness
Promises were made, that you couldn’t keep
Claiming to be strong, but gave up so easy
That’s not me
I love with every piece of my soul
I don’t give up when things seem to go astray
But I digress, because I did know something was wrong
When you sympathized with Daisy
