Blackness overtaking blackness.
Waves of sadness, softly dripping happiness.
The darkness makes the light seem so much brighter,
And I'm blinded by the sight.
Darkness holds and grips me tighter.

Blackness conquers blackness,
In the corners of my eyes.
Light revolves around the center,
But my peripherals grow in size,
And I'm blind, the
Darkness holds and grips me tight.

And the slowly spinning light,
Tapers off into the night.
Burning lullabies in my mind, as
Darkness holds and grips me tight.
