There are four seasons,
of that we can depend
Each reveals its reasons,
we do attempt amends

With a whisper comes spring,
secret charms to view
The divine beauty it brings,
mornings sprinkled with dew

Summer arrives with such power,
absolute influence of the sun
Tokens of the late showers,
soothing pleasure when day is done

Autumn jumps in with flame and glory,
the boldest colors to behold
Harmony of a perfect story,
you never tire of being told

Hear the scream of winter,
ivory calm at a glance
You can receive an answer,
having solace, if by chance

At the very beginning,
to the very end,
there will be seasons changing
Of that we can depend
