It's not the moon that comes at night,
Nor the stars that shine up far
That makes me fear to be like them
So far away, so far away

It's not the darkness that I fear
Nor the silence that I hear
When I do see them up above,
So far away, so far away

But it's the fear to be up there
So high above, all by myself
So far away, so far away

Don't get me wrong:

I'm not afraid to be alone
I'm not afraid to only be just with myself

But I do fear loneliness.
