Crack the shell and break that which confines and bonds you
Seep onto the cold, hard, unforgiving ground
Absorb all that is around you
Grow, but do not discard the shell from which you came and heard that first sound

Instead use the yolk and wear as your perfume
And the shells to build your house in which to live
Then, set your own curfew
And wait for the ground to crack and give
